A short history of HEES
Established in 1991, Hygienic and Environmental Engineering Services (HEES) has provided mechanical engineering support & maintenance to the food & drink industry since its inception.
Mark & Peter Lattimer joined HEES in 1998, expanding it further into the food & drinks industry with large scale projects, and establishing HEES in the Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical and Industrial markets.
HEES also cover the Automotive industry, carrying out work from general day to day electrical service to large refurbishment fit outs for high end car manufacturers.
In November 2015, Jamie Marks joined HEES as a project engineer, and with his records of proven success, he was promoted to Projects Director for HEES, in 2018.
Over the years, we have worked to combine our coverage and experienced office and on-site teams, to become a reliable partner, working to the very latest quality standards for the benefit of our clients.
We aim to be the first choice for small to large scale mechanical and electrical projects providing local support & proven design solutions, delivered on time and to budget.
Mark Lattimer – Managing Director
With 40 years of experience in the industry, Mark started from the ground up, where he acquired experience building on-site process and utilities piping systems within the Chemical, Food/Beverage & Pharmaceutical Industries.
In the last 25 years, he has worked predominately in the Life Sciences and Pharmaceutical Industry, from concept design through to site project integration and commissioning.
Outside of work Mark enjoys all football, tennis, golf and spending time with his family and friends.
Peter Lattimer – Electrical Director
Peter has been in the industry for 35 years, starting as a time-served electrical apprentice. He has progressed, through site installation, supervision and project management and has gained experience and knowledge across a wide range of the electrical industry, from HV/LV to lighting design, and EC&I control installations.
For the last 20 years, Peter has worked on the day-to-day management of the electrical side of the business, helping clients in food/beverage, pharmaceutical and automotive industries achieve their project goals on time and in budget.
In his spare time, Peter enjoys golf and tennis, playing and watching, and gets immense pleasure from spending time with family and friends.
Jamie Marks – Projects Director
Jamie has excellent strategic appreciation and vision gained through his current and previous roles, implementing strong skills across all sectors of the workplace, His innate ability to use these transferrable skills has ensured a proven track record of supporting business needs.
Experienced with delivering successful projects to the Chemical, Food/Beverage & Pharmaceutical industries for 20 years. Jamie gained his experience serving in roles from tradesman to senior management.
Jamie’s spare time involves golf, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends.
